Super Visa Insurance
Insurance for Extended Stay Visitors
Meeting IRCC's Mandatory Medical Insurance Requirement
Since 2011, the Super Visa program has provided an excellent opportunity for family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to spend quality time with their loved ones in Canada. Unlike regular visitor visas, the Super Visa allows extended stays of up to five years per visit, eliminating the need for frequent visa renewals.
One of the key requirements for obtaining a Super Visa is providing proof of comprehensive medical insurance from a Canadian insurance provider. This mandatory coverage protects both the visitor and their Canadian family by ensuring that any unexpected medical expenses are fully covered during their stay in Canada.
